Fizzled...

Well...no fireworks at all oddly enough.Ending things here on a positive note at least and leaving the possibility of next summer open at the same time. I intend to return next Summer....just better prepared and EARLIER!!..Like in May or June.I simply got here too late to save up enough to tide me over till Winter got rolling. I have ONE shot left at staying here.That an interview at a boutique near by called Rue 21. Its a 100/1 longshot but if I dont try I'll never know,right?

Ya..my LAST shot has fallen through as well....No job....no loan from the bank to pay the rent.....no NOTHING!!!...I AM SICK of UTAH(Park Shitty inparticular due to outrageous rents,CRAPPY pay and hours...and Landlords who think they can just push a person around)All I have left is an interview tomarrow...a pissed landlord.....and an eviction notice.And here in about 2 hours the Landlord thinks she will come in here and toss me out on my keister??...I DONT THINK SO...said the pissed off Kodiak Bear(nod at AK there).Anywho..will post again after the fireworks....STAY in the Bunkers...dont want ya gettin shot at by mistake.

Actually feeling rather depressed. 3 weeks without work.Rent goes UP Nov.1st...and the Land lady is being a TOTAL HEN PICKING BITCH!!....as in "Keep the beds made!!...Keep the laundry OFF the floor!!...I dont want ANYTHING ANYWHERE unless I put it there!!"...blah blah blah!! Oh...and she likes to just "show up" when ever she wants...for no reason than to be a total pain.I Cant wait till it snows..more...and the resort opens...and I can get away. Oh yeah...did I mention she MOVES IN IN NOV. TOO?...Z-O-M-F-G!!!..so yeah...life is just wunderbar atm.And people wonder why I'm excelling at killing stuff on my rogue...I see my Landlady everywhere....AMBUSH!!!..GARROTE!!!...EVISERATE!!!!.....GAAAAAAA!!!!!

At least I begin training for a new job on Nov. 2nd...thats at least something positive right?..Always try to end positive!!

So my Friend/Ex Gina calls me up tonight with "Good News".Ya...I'm nervous at this point..never know WHAT is gonna come down the pipe. Whelp...turns out that her eldest daughter,Christina, is pregnant.Umm hmm. Been living with her "BF Kinda" for about a year or so. Not the most stable fella either ( drinker )...and has been mildly abusive in the past.I dont know anything else but what I hear 2nd/3rd hand so I cant be too judgemental. I CAN and WILL however offer to kill him and hide the body if he screws up in some fashion.As in Ditches her.I'm sorry...but I'm VERY protective of those who I am close to..be they family or not.After all I did help raise the Girls to be the young women they are today..Was even called "Dad" by the 2 youngest for a period. So YES, as of now he has the "Bouncing Red Arrow of Immenant(?) DOOM!!!!" above his head.

whelp...as I sit here waiting for call backs for interviews and such...I keep picking up shifts at PCMR.Dogged determination FTW I suppose.On another front looks like the majority of my prospects will be hiring in Mid. Oct.....right about the time PCMR shuts down for the transition to Winter Operations. Looks like decent timing no?We shall see what it brings however...rent goes UP in November.Maybe Terri (my land lady) will give me a Birthday discount?

Whelp....ran all over the local outlet mall here,that I just happen to live right next door to, and picked up a BAZILLION applications...got several blah leads, a few HMM....leads,and even a couple HOT DAMN!! leads.So my attitude has improved considerably now.All I need to do is get rid of my writers cramp in my hand now>.< Areopostale and Banana(nananaanananananana) Republic are my hottest prospects so far...updates soon!!

S-I-G-H....I guess things never go as well as I had hoped. Labor Day has passed.....and so it seem my job at PCMR as well......went from 4 days a week...to Two.....now its down to ONE...lousy 6 hour day next week.I guess these people dont realize I have rent to pay.So here recently I have been in a real FUCKITALL mood. Sorry..just trying to keep my head above water now really sucks.Had an interview at a Ruby Tuesday for a busser position,and have another Fri at the local Mickey D's...(shudder).Yep..its come down to dirty dishes...or flippin burgers....YAY!...

A "soft" moment

On a lighter note....I used "Gizzy" today.Without realizing it either until after I said it.Used in reference to a button used to control the winch to raise and lower those jumping on the Bungy Trampoline.It came unscrewed and popped out.

I promise to work on getting a pic up sooner or later.Nothing to see but a big teddy bear looking guy.But I said I would and I cant keep my only fan waiting....(wink)

Meh....PCMR getting on my nerves now. I suppose as one of the last few new guys...that havent quit yet,I should not be suprised that I'm the first one to feel the "pinch" of fall cutbacks. I only lost Monday,about 9 or so hours so its not all that bad I guess.I'll just redouble my efforts on finding a 2nd job. 3 days off is too much.Makes me lazy.

Schools almost HERE!!

YES...almost time for them to go back to school!(them being kids,of course...and the occasional U brat) But that also puts me at odds with my job.I'm happy to see them go....but it also means less work for me in the long run. At least till Winter hits in earnest!!
AHHH,Winter!!! Yes.....Winter!I swear I never knew HOW on earth I lived in Houston and Miami,what with the H-E-A-T and all.I like it cold personally.I became addicted to Utah powder 2 years ago.Last winter I tried a ski resort in WA....it just wasent the same.

I can't help but reminisce of learning to ski at Snowbird, Winter '07-'08. I am trying to get my Liftie job back there this Winter....but PCMR will be just fine if I dont. Plus..I'm already working at PCMR.Bird in the hand is worth two ....yadda yadda.

So...JUST got my PC set up tonight........got my stoopid wireless card installed and set up.................y-a-w-n. Played a little WoW to soothe the savage nerves and found no one missing me at all( as expected ),and to test my connection here.I am happy to be back online again,tho not for the WoW reason. Just been feeling "out of touch" recently.

My Sister and Mom decided a week before I was to leave that they would drive me down themselves. "Good excuse for a road trip!", I said. Mary did 90% of the driving.From Centralia,WA al the way to Twin Falls,Idaho. 12 hours straight!!...Crashed out in a Motel 6 for 5 hours then back on the road. I drove from the Id. border all the way into Park City since I knew where I was going from living in Utah before. One look at the Alpine Slide snaking its way down the mountain and Mary was ready to leave.Got moved in and unpacked,showered and C-R-A-S-H-E-D!!!..I hate moving....

So the Familial units left the same day.....over nighted in Twin Falls again..and made it a 4 day round trip total.2 out...2 back. Not to shabby at all.And I arrived a full day ahead of schedule to boot!!

Went in to PCMR and filled out all my paperwork...got my Uniform...broke their camera(ID pic)and went on a few rides to pass the time. Fun is healthy...specially when its FREE!!!
And YES....going from a couple hundred feet above sea level to 7000 feet in 2 days really kicked my butt!!Minor case of altitude sick and all. I'm ok now 2 weeks later,about 10 pounds lighter and losing weight fast( thank you GOD!!)

Started "work" 2 days later and learned just how out of shape I really was!!Not to mention getting crisped by the high altitude sun.I'm quite bronze now(farmers tan lines,blech).Found the weight room and pool that belong to the Condos I'm living in. Not to mention the Tanger Outlet Mall not a stones throw from my 3rd floor deck!! At least the buses are F-R-E-E here. Got the rest of Aug. and Sept. to go...then we start gearing up for Winter(I think,not sure about anything past next week IMO).I already have a line on a Liftie position at PCMR,just need to do an interview or two. Also working on getting a second job here for between seasons,and a car.PO'd that the nearest DL place in in Heber...12 miles away!!....or in the Valley!..What gives people??

Meh...I've rambled enough for tonight. I promise to keep a better schedule of posting.
